In the middle of a short sale

Hello,
I live in California, but have an investment property in TX. Due to various reasons I have had big problems with the property in TX and could not continue making payments and saught help with a broker doing a short sale for me. But for past 4 months he has been very ineffective - and has failed to even send all the paperwork and when I called the bank, they say the file is not complete and so they have not looked into the package yet. I am stressed out about this. Can you let me know what options I have here.
