Real Estate Market-Chaos
Father Betrays Son, Tries To Steal His House !!

by Ronald Kallungi
(Hawthorne Ca USA)

Chaos in Real Estate Market can cause pain and create a lot of unexpected problems even among family members where foreclosure is not an issue.
My biological father, melvin, bought a house in 1993. He bought it for me. I was to pay the monthly mortgage and pay him back the down payment. I paid the down in full, to him, and was making the payments on two loans on the house, and did so for over a decade.
I was planning on getting the title in my name, but first I wanted to remodel it. He took out a loan for the construction. All went well, except near the end of the project, he decided I had to sell my house. He thought because he was the title holder, he could force it, and deny he promised to turn the title over to me and get it in my name.
Problem is, he did sign a document declaring it was my house and title would be turned over to me.
We got to a point where he agreed to hire a contractor and pay him, then sell the house in a month or so, and I would get $65K immediately upon close of escrow.
He had agreed that I would get all the PROFITS from the house when sold. Problem is, he is falsly trying to claim loans he took out, not against my house, were used to fund the remodel, in the amounts of about 1/2 million dollars too much. We insisted on doing the accounting by receipts and/or checks written, not by adding up the amounts of about 7 loans he had taken out. He promised to provide the receipts/checks, but never did.
I prepared to sue him, but we came up with the agreement.
After selling and getting my initial $65K, basically, the rest would go into an account, where accountents could decide how much profit is mine.
We initially owed $135K, spent about 200-300K and it is currently worth over 1 million, but he is stahling in putting the house on the market.
I need some cash to live off for the next 3-6 months, plus I want to go ahead and start several lawsuits against him, including breach of contracts, and I am thinking of starting a business, which is what my wife and I planned when we get the $65K. My wife is currently pregnant, we have a 19 month old baby, and we were expecting to get the $65 by June at the latest, and planned for that. Baby is due in July, 2008.

I can absolutely prove and verify all the facts above, and have lived in LA County since 1969, and Southern Ca all my life.
