How To Work With Loss Mitigation Consultants

Our loss mitigation consultants are committed to offering foreclosure alternatives that keep you in your home.

Unlike some of the other loss mitigation consultants soliciting your business, we aren’t looking to purchase your home and we aren’t working for your lender either. We work with you and for you to get a mutually acceptable agreement with your lender. You stay in your home and they continue receiving money each month. This is the best deal that can be arranged.

Here are 4 tips to keep in mind when you’re ready to talk to loss mitigation consultant about viable foreclosure alternatives.

Tip #1 – Be open and honest

To ensure we offer you every opportunity to remain in your home, it’s extremely important to be completely honest about your current situation. It’s the only chance you have to stop foreclosure. We already know you need help; if you didn’t you wouldn’t have contacted us. Your situation determines the foreclosure alternatives we’re able to pursue so if you’re really 60, 90 or more days behind on your payments, please tell us that. We’re not here to judge you.

Tip #2 – Work with us

Remember our goal is to offer foreclosure alternatives that offer foreclosure relief and we won’t be able to help if you don’t make working with us your top priority. Please provide loss mitigation consultant with what he needs, when he needs it. Time is of essence and delays can put previously available foreclosure alternatives out of reach.

Tip #3 – Keep us in the loop

Once we start working together it’s important that you tell us about any foreclosure-related correspondence right away. We’d also like you to summarize all telephone or email conversations you have as that puts us in the best position to help you stop foreclosure.

Tip #4 – Let us advise you on your foreclosure alternatives

Never feel pressured by your lender to sign any documents without first allowing us an opportunity to review them. Likewise, don’t make any promises or commitments that you may not be able to uphold. Remember, you’ve asked for our help so allow us to give it. We’ll contact the lender on your behalf and then present your foreclosure relief options. We’ll help you decide which foreclosure alternatives to pursue and once decided we’ll handle the rest. You’ve got enough on your mind already.
